The new year is such a motivating and fun time to switch up your health and fitness routines. Maybe you’ve been slacking over the holidays and need a boost to get you back on your A game, or maybe you’ve just never really been interested or thought too much about it before. What you’ll need:
- Grapefruit, Lemon & Peppermint Young Living Essential Oils (remember! Young Living oils are HIGH quality, therapeutic grade oils… you do NOT want to ingest oils from brands you don’t trust, as many use synthetic fillers that may be dangerous to your health!)
- Carrier Oil: Grape Seed Oil or EVOO work best
- Vegetable capsules, such as these from Amazon
- Optional: Glass bottle with dropper, capsule holder, or shallow bowl with rice
There is no right or wrong way to make these capsules. Basically, the end goal is to fill up each capsule with 3-4 drops of EACH essential oil and then fill the rest of the capsule with carrier oil. I have steady hands, so I hold the half capsule in my left hand, place each drop of oil in using my right hand and then replace the other half of the capsule and I’m done! I only make 6 capsules at a time (3 days worth) because I don’t like the oils to sit too long.
If you want to make a bulk batch, I recommend investing in a capsule holder or some rice to help hold up you capsules. Then you can mix all three of your essential oils into a glass bottle with dropper (30-40 drops of each oil) and then from the glass bottle, drop 6-8 drops of essential oil into each capsule, fill with carrier oil and replace other half. If you make a bulk batch, store them in a glass jar (like a mason jar) in the fridge to keep them fresh!
Take two capsules each day, one in the morning before breakfast and a second in the afternoon between lunch and dinner. Be sure to take each capsule with a large glass of water!
As with any fitness or diet change, it takes about 3-4 weeks to really start seeing results. It also depends on how much weight you have to lose and how drastically you are changing your diet and exercise routine in conjunction with the WLT.
